Some cities I would like to visit are Los Angeles, Tokyo, Sydney, Rome and Mexico City. What do I imagine those metropolises are like?

Los Angeles seems like the city where all the richest VIPs live. A place very much centred on the most influential people of the world, further explained by the importance given to the Walk of Fame. LA is the embodiment of exclusiveness and luxury, which aren't accessible in any other part of the world. Just as you’re taking your coffee or fresh pressed juice, ordering it with some charcoal in it or its unicorn version (as those are the latest trends), you’ll see a celebrity within a walking distance from you trying to desperate hide from paparazzi with their big hat and dark sun-glasses. In that moment, you can’t do anything as you’re desperately trying to figure out whether it’s rude to ask for a picture or just talk to him/her. However, during the few minutes you had to do any of those options, the star is gone. You’re sad that he/she is no longer near you but deep down you’re happy you could just lay eyes on them in real life and not be limited anymore by the face you saw on the screen of your laptop. You’re now wondering what your next great encounter will be while sipping your drink, under the sun wearing your Ray Bans.

Tokyo, the city that never sleeps. It seems like it's very much connected to its oldest traditions as much as close to the newest technologies in the world. Here reside some of the most prestigious and famous restaurants in the world, in the highest skyscrapers you could ever imagine, where traditional recipes are revisited and modified using the latest culinary techniques in the field. Surprisingly, in this same city, you can also eat at the most secretive restaurants where their entrance is hard to find between the numerous shops, the lights and the food markets dominating the crowded streets. The priority of these hidden restaurants is to preserve the authenticity of the Japanese culinary tradition throughout the years and offer a taste of the same dishes that their ancestors enjoyed centuries ago. But don’t worry, there is also an alternative for those wanting innovation: restaurants where robots and humans work together to deliver the most unique dinner you’ll ever have! I imagine Tokyo as a city focused on its culinary side where chefs are deeply passionate and want to bring the most amazing side of their culture on their dishes. the Japanese culture sparkles through its gastronomy as well as through its unique palaces and gardens, source of admiration for every tourist who gets the chance to see them.

Sydney, a metropolis attracting visitors for its possibility of living the city life while also enjoying the beautiful beaches. A city where it offers a little bit of everything for the various desires that the public might have. Lovers of the relaxing kind of holiday can either book a full treatment at the most exclusive beauty salons or just breath in the fresh breeze coming from the ocean while sunbathing under the warming sun. For the most adventurous individuals, surfing has been one of the most popular activities for generations; but you can also visit the most famous zoos where you can have a once-in-a-lifetime experience hugging a koala or observing kangaroos. However, the city’s attractions don’t stop here as the fun continues even during the night. Clubs, bars and restaurants offering so many sorts of cuisines and cocktails you can only imagine and if you’re lucky enough to find the right spot in the most glamorous locations, you can also enjoy in the meantime a breath-taking view.

Rome, the essence of Italy. The city where tradition dominates its gastronomy and the fresh pasta, pizza and ice-creams will make you fall in love with the simplicity yet exquisite taste of the Italian tradition. In the restaurants, the cosy, friendly atmosphere will make you feel like you’re at home. The deep love for its customs, family and dining will make your stay unforgettable. This attachment to its heritage can also be seen through the most important monuments and the museums in the city, which can help you connect to its rich historical and cultural background. Eating your home-made spaghetti with the finest Italian wine while enjoying the view of the Colosseum framed by the shades of red, yellow and orange in the sky during the sunset, will make you want to return to this city every time you have the occasion to.

Mexico City, the city of heat, spice and fun. This vibrant city seems like perfect combination between the modern life with skyscrapers dominating the city and at the same time their dedication to preserving the history of millions years ago. One of the most important monuments here are in fact the Aztec ruins where millions of people every year stand in the very same spot where the first inhabitants of that city stood centuries ago. Here you can get close to this untouched side of the city as much as take advantage of the many opportunities that its modern side offers. You can dine in the finest places where exotic spices take over your taste buds and make you appreciate the pungent taste of sour tequila cocktails while enjoying the sound of guitars being played by a mariachi band.
